Standing on My Head

Himself Upside

Himself Upside

This morning I decided I would start wearing
My whole head right on the bottom of my feet
It means I will no longer get to wear an earring
But I’ll see where I’m walking down the street

I’ve decided to leave my nose to sit atop my neck
That way, I can smell what is in the wind ahead
I’m certain  it will look strange, but what the heck
Everyone should try it before they wake up dead

Fists planted on my thighs, elbows flap like wings
My limbo is akimbo and I don’t know how to clap
People say the arias are rude, my buttocks sings
But they must stand on their head my face to slap
