Growth Cycle ~ Philip Brent Harris
~~~~~
Do not worry. We will get it back again. But so will they.
Be cool, walk, run, stand, sit; it always works out that way.
What’s scarce always waxes. what’s glutted always wanes.
That’s sure as death and taxes and I admit that this explains
How we find our life now and perhaps many years to come.
Don’t like it, raise our hands. Don’t stress until we’re numb.
Our hands becomes our voices, also thoughts, words, wallet.
Join how we can, our choices. March, though we earn a pallet
A cell we hoped we’d never see. Being good as good can be.
Followed rules, oh so clever, believed in Sea to Shining Sea.
Sped right through the odd stop; it’s part of living the dream,
The one we’ll end up on top, learn the truth, want to scream.
Better than so many around. Be thankful each day, why not?
Only happiness to be found is inside of us and there’s a lot.
Do not worry. We will get it back again. But so will they.
Be cool, walk, run, stand, sit; it always works out that way.
