“War is Peace; Freedom is Slavery; Ignorance is Strength; Trumpery is Reality”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The multitude of ways we dream our hope
Some near, some distant, need a telescope
A wish fulfilled, but not for what we pined
Spend years so depressed, out of our mind
Will we start to understand which is which?
For grass seen as greener might we switch?
Using time we wasted for the time we want
Always wish to have exactly what we can’t
After we’re taught worship of money, things
Turning away from life, joy only love brings
Perceiving our universe as tawdry and small
Forget we are one all, only ever us; that is all
