People Over Politics, World Over Wealth!
On the Shore ~ Philip Brent Harris

O, to see our brilliant world again
reflected in ocean’s waters of blue.
Sparkling around a dwindling white sail,
while wondering where it is wandering.
Is it following the wind’s four quarters
guided so by an engraved compass rose.
Or will it return to a safe harbor?
From there, to make its journey toward home.
Such as the destination each shall find.
Traveling both the former and latter.
Sailing upon distant tides or near home,
We’ll discover many lands now unknown.
We must grab the rudder and steer a course.
Who knows when next we will find adventure?
Wherever the wind chances to send us
to discover all the places we might roam.
