People Over Politics, World Over Wealth

My time upon this globe spins
closer to my dénouement? What
a lovely word which seems to
convey the sense of an ending, or
an ending with some sense, at least.
What do I mean to leave? Would I
dare to number my sins, my acts of
charity? Do they in any way balance
upon the scales of time? Should I
feel miserable or wax sublime
or settle somewhere in between.
