People Over Politics, World Over Wealth

Rain falls softly upon the
fields, patterns on the streams,
and carries me along through
the mysterious countryside as I
walk along. My dog ranges
ahead of me, backwards and
forwards and back, following her
nose in ways I no longer have
available. We depend on our misty eyes
and wonder why it is so difficult to see.
