When you think life has given you
the right to carp, moan and whine,
that life gives others a better view,
leave pity outside, you will be fine.
If you have problems quite severe,
Your life won’t be better in a sewer.
You are sick, tired, rent is in arrears,
attitude, distance from trier to doer.
We know we are all dying one day.
We can all choose to live in misery,
Yet, forever the same end, one way.
Sucks. Smile, gets better, you’ll see.
Call me Pollyanna, or labels worse,
On the other side, ask how it went.
Might end as food, ash, in a hearse,
They’re our choices, ere we are sent.
