Given half the time I think I have,
I have hope. What will I do with
the remainder of my current life?
Already almost 3/4 of a century
old and still I would leave some
true, tangible note of my life this
time. Other times and other lives
don’t, won’t, and can’t matter in
the time gone by, or the time to
come. Is the lesson I must learn
that it’s alright to live and love,
but leave no physical evidence?
