Enter the wilderness joyfully
Walk out of our hearts and into
the wild hearts of every other.
When rain falls upon the earth,
Lift your head and drink your
fill. All you want, nature’s milk.
Be vulnerable and be open. Let
this world inform your senses,
as if this is all you will ever see.

With open hearts enter your city
solemn, with care and propriety.
Greet each stranger open-armed,
and full of love, rich with peace.
Offer food and drink. You know
they’re but you in their disguise.
There you will find your heart and
the wild heart of every other thing
joyfully existing in the wilderness.
