Where Air Becomes Breath ~ Philip Brent Harris

My heart weeps for all that is lost.
For how I have been left alone. Bereft
of family and friends who I once knew.
Gone now to a destination of unknown
dimensions. Around the corner, behind
a wall. I hope they wait for me. Fear
they are nothing, with nowhere to linger.
The universe is so large, I can but stay
to see my last day and wonder what
strange tale my next moment brings.
