Listen to the distant sound of singing.
Where you wait, you’re uncertain
that such heavenly songs, will ever
allow you to discover their source.
You cherish them without words or
meaning. All the moments in life
as we pass, gone in this instant.
Yet, we know we perceived it.
Lest we are going crazy. And
there’s no reason cannot be both
Do we await a stentorian voice,
the pull of strings? Are we hand
puppets, marionettes? Do we stroll
the tabletop, gesture, lie discarded,
still alive, staring at stars in wonder?
