Information Disconnect ~ Philip Brent Harris

No matter how empty I may feel
or how creative I hope I am.
Does it matter in the long run?
The answer is yes and no.
Despite the finish line,
we all must run the race.
Run and race but metaphors
for love, sorrow, pain, and cheer.
They speak of all we fear and desire.
The efforts we make here to there.
We have so little conscious
knowledge that our lives
add another experience, a piece,
creating the life which is our cosmos.
Perhaps we add scars, share smiles.
Each is a memory, a moment
which helps define us and
complete the ultimate story.

Diversity is Unity, Empathy is Empowerment
