                                                                                          You Talking to Me? ~ Philip Brent Harris

Sitting here and succumbing to the idiot box,
While doing my best an idiot not to become.
I’ve the world’s knowledge at my fingertips.
To ignore it; that that would be really dumb.

Are we deaf to reason, blind to illumination?
I watch flickering images, hear braying asses.
How then can everything seem so clear to me?
Have I been laid low by their nasty butt gasses?
