Peace is Purpose, Nonviolence is Strength, Diversity is Unity, Empathy is Empowerment

Now, snow rests upon my weary head.
Might I have used another path instead?
It’s growing darker, nature’s fan is nigh,
it’s bold palette, on distant shore I spy.
Did I wait overlong my steps to retrace;
the treasures I’d find the dangers I face?
If I move, will I awake a waiting beast,
so I will be what’s served at the feast?
Can you comfort me, lead me your way,
Help me avoid danger, live another day,
guide me to the healing light you shine?
Will the victim live, can we grow a spine?
