When will a pipe, still, no longer be a pipe?
When will a blue bird in flight be a croissant?
What if we can never know which is each type?
What if we, our names, don’t stay au courant?
This might be a bad thing, or it might be good.
Thought about it, a lot, made sure I understood.
Bad, we’d never know what things might be.
Good, because we could accept a new reality.
I say, not lightly, our reality to date is a mess.
We haven’t quite lived up to our initial promise.
Way we are, we may not continue to live at all.
Oh well, at least we don’t have very far to fall.
Peace is Purpose, Nonviolence is Strength, Diversity is Unity, Empathy is Empowerment
