Tug-of-War
I’m very much scattered of late, a tug of war between my muses. Writing, art which I fail to create, although I’m not making excuses. I might join the fray on one side, if I haven’t chosen the other one. Whenever I’m not trying to hide, I warrant that I usually have fun.
Whatever Comes, Came
When I was younger, I dreamed I would have fortune and fame. Now, I’m older, my face seamed. I’m fine that few know my name. My life’s not over, far as I know. And though it may stay the same, my goal’s now to have fun, let go. At the end, whatever comes, came.
Integration
Run around, run in place, life is movement of the flesh Look in a mirror, study your face. Do the skin of youth, your wrinkles mesh?
Time
Time On the ocean shore Walking the time of beach sand It knows, does not tell ~~~~~ Peace is Purpose, Nonviolence is Strength, Diversity is Unity, Empathy is Empowerment ~~~~~

Welcome ~~~~~ Welcome is such a simple word Yet it is so rich in implication Must I ask you again, once heard If so, I’ll send another invitation Welcome ~~~~~ Peace is Purpose, Nonviolence is Strength, Diversity is Unity, Empathy is Empowerment
Awake, for Now
Awaken in the early hours of this morn to write this previously unthought verse. So 1 wonder if I should feel more forlorn, I’ll fade from life as I ride in my hearse? Peace is Purpose, Nonviolence is Strength, Diversity is Unity, Empathy is Empowerment
For What It’s Worth
I cannot understand people who don’t want peace on earth. I do, and I’m still ruled by the world of things. Hard to imagine no possession, but I know what it’s worth. When everyone’s equal, we all live like kings.
