Do you feel encouraged in your daily life,
or are you left to wonder why you’re here?
Do you have someone at home who will
tell you that you have done good, maybe
even made a difference in other lives? Not
everyone needs such blessings to make
it through their days and nights. Some
are sure, no matter what the circumstance.
Whether they should be or should not.
Most put in the work to achieve something,
a greatness, though it is only personal.
We each must. Do our best. To the best
of our capacity, no matter what, yes.

Though at times people fail, crash and
burn to lie broken in their own lives.
Are we judged at all by whether we
reach out, help someone to again stand,
to provide aid and comfort if that’s all
they are able to accept now? That’s the
time we and they have–now. This moment,
already gone. Can we be forgiven if we
become caught up in life’s hurley-burley,
the hustle and bustle of modern existence?
And would others in other times have
offered the same weak excuse for a lack
of caring, concern? Is it only reality?
