The machines move rapidly,
creating life, formerly, our own.
They push us aside, but can they
feel the satisfaction of the job
well done? Work passed down,
father to daughter, mother to son.
Whatever combination I call forth,
will it matter? When everything
is made by machines and we are
left to stand and fart, watching
in wonder. Wondering why
we let this come to pass?
