There are so many things I do not know.
Facts are there, but how does grass grow?
Why may be a better question, I’m not sure.
Because is too obvious an answer for me.
I may never know, yet I continue to search.
How did I find love when many others don’t?
What of those who love that have lives stolen
by maniacs, terrorists, violence without end.
What of the greedy fools who engender hate
and separation and all for their own benefits.
The fathers, mothers, sons, daughters and all
the extended human family, sans community.
Why do we tell the lies that enable us to treat
others as if they have no worth?? Or merely
the value we allow them to have, though they
have lived lives such as ours here or in places
far away from their home. What we call home
but a temporary stop we claim as ours, without
heart or reason. Where did we lose our soul’s
connection? Do you believe we’ll find it again?
