Heart of the Matter ~ Philip Brent Harris

Within my heart, love expands.
It grows, pushes against walls
which you know are love itself,
disguised as our friable flesh.
Love carries blood throughout
our fleeting houses, using it and
replenishing it with the breath
of the love found all around us.

Nowhere you look is without
love, nor can it be corrupted.
We alone hide from ourselves.
We walk with our eyes closed,
pretend we walk in darkness.
We force our eyes wide open
till we burn them and our lost.
Still, love is there to hold us.

Diversity is Unity, Empathy is Empowerment

Peace is Purpose, Nonviolence is Strength,

Unite the World
