Flowing Through Time ~ Philip Brent Harris

The clock ticks and time races.
Move to the country, time slows.
It can’t be just clock or location,
but I will bet no one truly knows.

The country, an unexploded bomb.
We had best hope time stands still.
Ticks last hours, sweat on our brow.
If we survive, we won’t know how.

In the city, run for the train or bus.
Minutes flash faster than seconds.
We wonder where they have gone.
On the first step; the bus pulls away.
