Heart of Darkness ~ Philip Brent Harris
Soft steps of life and love creep
upon us at every moment. We’ve
been taught, have learned to see
a world of hatred, chaos in pain.
Like life, any we call friends and
family, love is both steadfast and
capricious. It may sulk for days or
whirl in a fiery dance of great joy.
Even in slow times, the lassitude
of transitions from one now into
another, where we have need to
change, may be full with the joy
of release and discovery. Since
life and love balance on the edge
of us; on the too narrow fulcrum
of now, where our knowledge
and beliefs. Neither may reflect
the truth of our everchanging
now. Can we even know from
one moment to another nothing
has changed. The cosmos sheds
its skin and grows every pico-
second and over uncounted eons.

Peace is Purpose, Nonviolence is Strength,
Unite the World
