When the taps run ants and roaches
with the winter’s storms coming in,
while news of your pick encroaches:
says what his opponent does is sin.
Close your eyes, change the channel.
You’ll hear similar from a 180o view.
Stay, despite the pundit or the panel,
Soon you’ll swap the swill you spew.
Don’t be so quick to judge the other.
Please take up neither hate nor arms.
Think you know what you’d rather?
You are the snake the media charms.
When the dust settles, the blood runs,
the dead are stacked like cord wood,
with both friend and foe, who’s won?
Too late to say if you did bad or good.
