People Over Politics, World Over Wealth

Information Disconnect ~ Philip Brent Harris
What will the future say, decide about any and all such,
artists, writers, musicians, creators who prod and poke?
Will they say we lack his-story or have much too much?
Will they describe us sage, wise or flawed, call us a joke?
Will they understand our inner muses, no excuses won,
know our trials, suffer our tribulations, our hopes to be?
Will our ambiguity speak to them of occult information?
Will our information breed within them wild ambiguity?
Will they say our spot, light has faded or grown brighter?
Far more will be forgotten than the few we raise on high.
Misunderstood genius that made the way forward lighter.
Some may ill-deserve their fate, their life’s failure all a lie.
No matter what we believe, hope our future will record,
Earth gets burned away long after our tiny world began.
Whether we are the celeb du jour or leave critics bored,
smile, jest, laugh, share our truth and be our biggest fan.
