Puzzle where every piece
Is a different color and
The pattern changes with how
You change them, rearrange
Your view and your perception.
Memory marks the surfaces
As they slip away, repeat.
A repeating chorus highlighted
With a descant that carries
Your soul to its highest self.
Still you’re but briefly there.
