Don’t Judge

People Over Politics, World Over Wealth!

The Challenger ~ Philip Brent HarrisThe Challenger ~ Philip Brent Harris

This bench becomes much more crowded.
I await what the afternoon might reveal.
I went to Chicago in San Francisco. Wow!
Still, I remain uncertain exactly how I feel.
My brain is expanded into my entire being.
The spirals of creation reign and shower us.
Surfeits of knowledge and emotion interact.
I wander through creation’s manifestation.
It’s art and life, all its myriad permutations.
Thus, I know I’m a piece of its vast totality.
Birthed as the big bang, big birth, to grow,
seeing itself mirrored, its progeny separate
and together in all things, times and places.
Don’t judge. Comprehend you are me and
I am you; we, but pretend we’re separate.
While we appear as specks on a dust mote
in vastly deep darkness called space/time,
we fill our cosmos as our cosmos fills us.
Living as brief sparks, warmed by the sun.
I’m unsure how we decided we’re the ones.
“What fools these mortals be,” Shakespeare
wrote, a wiser man than I am or hope to be.
Yet, I’m that man and men and women who
lived long before I chose my current form.
As are you and will be forever before/after.

Peace is Purpose, Nonviolence is Strength,
Diversity is Unity, Empathy is Empowerment

Unite the World!
