People Over Politics, World Over Wealth!

I have run with fleet children
where the forest meets the stars.
I have pursued silence playing
solitaire out in the deserts far.
Aristotle and Dante helped me
learn the secrets of the universe.
The ones they discovered, but
some of those found protection
in a wise man’s fear, revealed
by calling the name of the wind.
I have sailed over earth and sea
as a wizard, seeking his shadow.
I have been shown nine ways to
rescue capitalism from itself and
while taught how to buy a planet.
I have silver roads still to travel
if you take my meaning, although
this may mean a sand sea caravan
caused by centuries-old prophecy.
I’m but a minor mage, yet I might
find a defensive guide to baking, a
map of time in a glass hotel. I know
with or without you, I’ll surrender.
Yet, in a many colored land I have
found castles in the air and magic
of a little big house of many ways,
where the silence of an arrow shows
improbable wonders of a little man.
What lies beneath? Is it five days
post mortem or a hummingbird’s
tear glistening on utopia avenue?
All this and more leads to a fool’s
progress to see disappearing earth.
