People Over Politics, World Over Wealth!

So Little Time, Too ~ Philip Brent Harris

Please, can speak in present tense
to discuss what we say matter to us.
What is this? Do you even know?
A lack of lifeguards, unvaccinated
swimmers who congregate outside?
Is it cops being killed, that’s terrible,
or random murders of black people.
White supremacy may rule you now.
Concern for attacks on Asians other
people, simply because they do not
match you or any family or friend.

What purpose does random violence
serve and who thinks they benefit?
When did guns grow more precious
than life, your life, my life, people?
Murder, stranger, innocent children,
Bystanders of all ages and ethnicity,
but also people you know and love
Are your parents, children, spouse
worth so little to you, you’d choose
this fatal metallic token of eternity?
These answers are what matter to me.

Diversity is Unity, Empathy is Empowerment 

Unite the World!
