I’ve sometimes wondered how it would be

Always to be right in every single situation. 

Do you suppose you would lose your edge?

Might you discover life a terrible bore after

Instances where you find no reason to fight?

These questions could keep you up at night.

Instead, I would not want to be ever wrong.

Must be some place I can find in between.

After all, that appears the path life follows.

Despite what any wealthy or poor may say.

Except even they must accept bum advice.

After all, these examples are merely human.

Martyrs, to me, take this idea to the extreme.

Intellectual rigor may examine my argument.

Say what you will, I will stand by my stand.

Tomorrow I will probably change my stance.

Alternating twixt being correct and mistaken

Knife’s edge dancing, no matter your opinion.

Exhausting to question this as much as have.

Nobody should attempt to refute me forever..
