Earth is not our stage
where we may playact
a meager role, despite
being cast hero or king.

We, more akin to cells
that comprise our being
a longer time than now
we lived as designed.

But then we exploded
into runaway growth,
a cancer which spread
so very far and wide,

A cure may be worse
than the disease, for us.
Still it, may be too late.
Excision the only way.
