I went, got my vaccine today.
at least I received a first dose.
I’ll follow what doctors says.
Please, do not stand too close.
If you must, I will turn away
Largely cause I see no mask.
I wish you would walk away
But you might shoot if I ask.
I can’t fathom your disregard
For you and yours, forget me.
Not science, sense; is it hard?
Your deaf ears refute my plea.
