My body often moves before my brain.
Although I remain unusually oblivious.
I knock things over; I’ll hope to explain.
I’m going here, but I end up over there.

I would do better, though I have always
Been this way, crashing into something.
May be chairs, tables, items in hallways.
World and I sport many dent and ding.

I’m older, I’d think now I’d slow down,
I would get better; it appears I get worse.
Repeatedly, I have fallen, hit my crown.
I admit this feels like an unending curse.

My life overall is good in so many ways.
My mind’s quick; maybe one step ahead.
I will try to do better in the coming days.
At the least, this will end when I’m dead.
