All the crazy drivers are out in force today.
Speeding, diving across four lanes of traffic.
With nary a pause for sense or for thought,
Since our madness has been now unleashed.
And the fear disguised as hatred, lack of love.
Many folks feel they have no control of life.
Many more fear these people out of control.
When death dealt by children seen as noble.
The extreme working daily to foment revolt.
Which evil plan will not be stopped in time?
Who dies, suffers for masculine insecurity?
Stuck as one more pebble in the avalanche.
How sad, anxious, angry they will become
When they realize they are merely pebbles.
Burned, battered, drowned by rising waters
And worse, buried neath history’s detritus.
