How many names will not be remembered?
What numberless stories will never get told?
Life on the Earth, with no guaranteed word;
No one may remember, when you grow old.
Is this any way important, when we’re loved?
Mothers, fathers, family and friends abound.
To chosen families, we are fitted and gloved.
With a pet or alone, meaning may be found.
Why would only names remembered count,
When each and all of us changed our world?
Good, bad, ugly, praiseworthy or no account;
All names unknown, known, equally whorled.
