Falling Fast

The words friable and frangible
myriad might find intangible.
They’re too specific and esoteric.
And, certainly less manageable
than our good old atmospheric.
Though atmosphere, I’ve found,
moves, never sticks around.
It provides no solid ground
Much like friable, frangible,
it just might let you down.
