Peace is Purpose, Nonviolence is Strength,  Diversity is Unity, Empathy is Empowerment.

Is everybody
a collector of dreams,
even those at night,
we don’t remember?
Those on the edge
of time and reason
of which our minds
barely catch glimpses.
They inform our days,
leading us somewhere,
sliding sideways,
from our daytime moments.
They tell us what
we think we want.
They tell us what
we need to learn,
though too often
we are deaf and blind,
confused by what
we see and hear,
what we’ve been told.

We must remember
where we are, remember
we cannot be left behind,
no matter what.
And though we may only
understand before we are born
and after we inhale
our final breath.
We change the whole
with every thought and word.
Every deed leads us
toward the infinite.
The ultimate destination
which all reach.
We live the natural conflicts
yes and no, light and dark,
seeking balance, which
will come, fast or slow.
Our evolution,
time plus our emotion
equals resolution.
