Peace is Purpose, Nonviolence is Strength,  Diversity is Unity, Empathy is Empowerment

Life is trying,
trying
to stretch me,
stretch me thin.
Extenuated
tries,
treasons,
lies,
reasons,
death and life,
sorrow
trouble
borrowed double.

Tears flow,
falling
like rain,
striking,
splashing,
battering,
splattering.
Ripples spreading,
intersecting.
No respite,
no recrimination,
insinuation,
sentiments shared.

True words,
honestly spoken,
beyond token.
Interim station,
terminal destination,
past time
to end lies,
to be wise,
for union,
reunion,
participation,
anticipation,
friends and family.

Joy and pain,
gatherings,
journeys,
alone together.
A vast ocean,
black and light,
spiraling galaxies
bloom like fireworks.
Skyrockets
garner oohs and aahs,
hanging on eternity,
fading fiery tails,
tales of us.

Future past,
our one and only
cosmos.
Our run ended
at last,
whether compost,
recycled atoms.
Compounds
confounding reason,
misdirection,
compression,
explosive joy,
living alloy.
as life begins.
Again,
