Mistakes which only I can make.
Wonder just what does that mean?
These were words I heard recently,
neither do I recall, nor know where.
Our world, opposites, give and take,
reminds of all the balance I’ve seen.
On, off, dark, light, all speak to me.
I hope, I will never have to be there.
There, my mistakes, if they portend
blood red is required for grass green,
war, peace, gene-encoded can’t flee.
Masters of war. Peace, do we dare?
If my mistake is crucial to this end,
Brand me, my face on every screen.
I’d live or die, to be inked in infamy
and, I’d gladly accept blame; I care.
