Sometimes, I think of today.
Could it be more than I recall?
The evenings misty mien open
to the elements where we stood.

Sometimes I think of tomorrow
and wonder about the weather,
whether our mood will color
our remembrance of our day.

Rarely do I think of yesterday.
Gone and forgotten, as you know.
Wonder how we never could see?
Speech incomplete to our task.
