Searching for love may make us feel forlorn.
In a stark noon’s light, will it fit the norm?
Still, dusk to dawn, somebody has love sworn.
Soulmates, children, parents, siblings are born.
Will we recognize love in any form?
Searching for love may make us feel forlorn.
We pursue love; search from sunset till morn.
Out in fair weather and the raging storm.
Still, dusk to dawn, somebody has love sworn.
Do we search blindly, so our quest’s forsworn?
Yearn for love at home, though it may deform?
Searching for love may make us feel forlorn.
We buy love, beat love, give it only scorn.
Lose love, gain love, in seasons cold or warm.
Still, dusk to dawn, somebody has love sworn.
Love is everywhere, far beyond airborne,
Though it may not fit in our neighbor’s norm.
Searching for love may make us feel forlorn.
Still, dusk to dawn, somebody has love sworn.
