Without the roots and flowers how will we survive?
The answer is unknown, at least for now.
Mostly, no one now alive will know.
Witness the lost of humanity
to know how we’ll live.
No matter what,
the end will arrive.
To survive the near term,
what peril we’ll face is unknown.
Is there a way we will be the last to leave?
If so, we will need to learn not only to take but to give.
