Time Traveler at the Shore ~ Philip Brent Harris

Out for an evening of music.
waiting for the world to speak.
Flowing through my fingers, now,
anticipating a lightning strike.
Or it could be that nothing comes,
though that is not my expectation.
Only our concept of time, perception
will tell what this evening brings,
whatever will come through me
guided by my brains and hands.
Most likely, a conduit only, writing
as quickly as I can to capture all.
