children or mad fools who share
a place that we have left behind.
It’s not a land you’re invited to.
You left long ago. You say not.
It’s within your denial, harmony
walks along the edge of what is,
what was, to what may become.
If we’ll along the narrow ledge
we may pick which way to fall.
