I already begin to see what a time sink
it is being able to read on my cellphone.
As I rest here and read, I start to think.
I recall my time here is merely on loan.

I don’t think reading is a waste of time
if our minds and hearts are wide open.
Even if you’re drinking vodka and lime
Words have power if written or spoken.
