Every morning,  when I crawl out of bed,

No matter how long I have slept, I’m tired.

I’ve many conditions of which you’ve read.

It’s difficult on many days to feel inspired.

Still, once I have arisen, I get moving about

After my obligatory cup of Yorkshire Gold.

It’s not that I want to dance around or shout

But for one more day, I decide not to be old.
