It’s time for my annual physical.
At this moment, I’m feeling fine,
cleaner than a proverbial whistle.
At least, both my hands are clean.
I washed for 20 seconds at home.
Sanitized my hands out of my car.
Again, when I entered the office.
Had to go; washed for 20 seconds.
I’ll do it in reverse to return home.
It’s where I will remove my mask.
Think it’s hard; it’s a simple task.
I do it so I don’t make anyone ill.
Mom, dad, sis, bro, parent, child,
A few yahoos may make it moot.
Shoot us down and make us mute,
based on lies and misinformation.
Spread widely by the baby on top,
Throws a tantrum, kicks the floor.
Millions choosing to believe him.
Despite pandemic, rampant here.
Breaking us, can he please, stop?
