They Don’t Care

Masked and Packing ~ Philip Brent Harris

When I think about wearing a mask

I think it seems like a simple task.

Why do the strong women and men

Fail this task over and over again?

Yet saying not to wear it their right,

Some will stop to argue, pick a fight

With employees standing at the door.

Why? It’s better than 6’ below, more.

They must have heard it, somewhere,

Mask protects others, they don’t care.

What’s the problem, you should ask,

With the simple task to wear a mask?

Peace is Purpose, Nonviolence is Strength, Diversity is Unity, Empathy is Empowerment
