Love Birds Puzzle ~ Philip Brent Harris

When you meet, expect it to happen this way.
Though I’ve never been sure what this way is.
Never expected it, know it happened anyway.
Happened years ago; it’s changed since then.
It’s likely happened many times, don’t know
Why I did, my state of mind, where or when.
Still, I am sure, I know, it will happen again.
All our ups and down, the anger and the hurt,
The love, joy and comfort that made us glow.
I would do it any way, if it happened, though
It was not supposed to and that is all I know.
