Strength in Numbers-2 ~ Philip Brent Harris
Second day, in weeks, away from home,
With,, mostly, proper social distancing.
Such distance feels antisocial, to some,
These days, anything else is alarming,
Especially if we are among the people
Say wearing a mask attacks their freedom.
Curve won’t flatten until we make a lull.
To be too selfish to agree, more than dumb.
To be or not to be definitely the question.
Wishing won’t make the virus disappear.
Won‘t honor party, age or class; take action.
Don’t care? When it’s over, I want to be here.
