A Hint of Moon

With a whimsically dramatic
Play of color, the sun swoons,
An overwrought stage diva.
She disappears, with a faint
trace, the perfume of a lover
Who has slipped silently, yet
Swiftly from a secret tryst.
The darkness embraces her,
As his sparkling cloak falls
Softly, covering her absence,
With, a hint of moon behind.
